# Projecting Hope

> A 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit (Projecting Hope Ministries) that brings free film events to local movie theaters across the country — using the power of story to inspire faith, spark conversation, and point people toward lasting hope. Every event is free to attend, funded by sponsors, donors, and partner churches. More than a movie.

**Mission:** Project the love of Jesus by using big-screen stories to move people from inspiration to action.

Projecting Hope is an activation platform, not just an event organizer. Every screening is designed to move attendees from inspiration to response, in partnership with a curated set of vetted Hope Causes that are spotlighted each season with short clips, impact moments, and tangible next steps. Audience: a faith-motivated, missional-minded community — "they come looking to be inspired, and leave looking to get involved."

## What you can do here

- **Find a theater & reserve free tickets** — open the Movie Dashboard, pick a participating "This Fall" location, and reserve free seats. No purchase; all events are free.
- **Vote on upcoming films** — help choose which films screen next season from inside the Movie Dashboard.
- **Get alerts for new cities** — locations are expanding in 2027; you can ask to be notified when a city opens.
- **Partner as a church (free)** — churches sign up on the For Churches page to bring events to their community and get season access.
- **Sponsor as a company** — companies can underwrite a season on the For Companies page.
- **Join the crew** — volunteers sign up on the Join the Crew page.
- **Give** — one-time or recurring donations on the Give page.

## Offerings

- **Early Access Premieres** — free early screenings of new faith-based films, often before public release.
- **Annual Hope Film Festival** (spring) — a multi-day weekend of the year's most impactful faith films; free admission and popcorn.
- **Big-Screen Faith Nights** — recurring evenings of Bible studies, apologetics, documentaries, comedians, pastor teachings, and indie films: community and teaching, experienced on the big screen.

## Locations

Ten theaters are live this fall ("This Fall" locations), with more cities coming in 2027. The current list and each theater's details are shown on the site and in the Movie Dashboard.
